Volume, lift and contour
Volume, structure and softness
As we age, fat pads shift, bone resorbs and collagen production slows. The result can be flatter cheeks, deeper nasolabial folds, hollowing under the eyes, thinning lips and a less defined jawline. Many of our Auburndale and Polk County patients tell us they look tired, heavier or older than they feel inside, even when their skin care is dialed in. Topical products and good habits help, but they cannot replace the structural volume your face has lost over time.
Hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers are gel-based injectables that gently rebuild that lost foundation. Erin places small, precise amounts of FDA-approved Juvederm or Restylane in targeted areas to add volume, lift sagging tissues, smooth folds and refine the lips, cheeks, chin and jawline. Combined with a thoughtful plan and, when appropriate, paired with Botox, dermal fillers help you look refreshed, rested and naturally yourself, never overdone.
Hyaluronic acid science, simply explained
Dermal fillers are injectable gels used to restore volume, smooth lines and enhance facial contours. The fillers we use at Evolving Mind and Body are made of hyaluronic acid (HA), a sugar molecule that already exists naturally in your skin and connective tissue. HA is hydrophilic, meaning it attracts and holds water, which is part of how it plumps and supports the tissues from within. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved HA fillers from the Juvederm and Restylane families for correcting facial wrinkles, restoring volume in the cheeks and treating thinning or asymmetric lips.
Each HA product is engineered with different cross-linking, particle size and elasticity (G prime), which is why we choose specific fillers for specific areas. Softer, more flexible gels are ideal for the lips and tear troughs, while firmer, more lifting gels work beautifully in the cheeks, chin and jawline. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, HA fillers are among the most studied and reversible injectables available, with a strong long-term safety profile when administered by trained medical providers.

Honest, anatomy-first guidance
Dermal fillers are a great option for healthy adults who want to restore volume, soften lines or refine specific facial features without surgery. During your consultation in Auburndale, Erin will review your medical history, examine your facial anatomy and discuss your goals to confirm whether HA fillers are the right tool, or whether another treatment may serve you better.
According to the FDA, dermal fillers should only be administered by qualified medical providers in a clinical setting, never at non-medical events or by unlicensed practitioners. If you have questions about safety or candidacy, please bring them to your consultation.

Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers have a well-established safety profile when administered by trained medical providers. Most side effects are mild and temporary, including injection-site swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising, mild itching or small lumps that typically resolve within a few days to two weeks.
Less common but possible side effects include prolonged swelling, asymmetry, palpable nodules, infection, herpes simplex (cold sore) reactivation in patients with a history, and allergic reactions. According to the FDA, the most serious but rare risk is unintentional injection into a blood vessel, which can cause vascular compromise. This is why provider training, anatomy knowledge and aspiration or cannula technique matter so much. Erin uses careful technique, premium FDA-approved products and follows strict safety protocols to minimize these risks. One of the advantages of HA fillers is that, if needed, they can be partially or fully dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. We always review your full medical history, current medications and any history of cold sores or allergies before treatment, and we provide clear written aftercare and a direct line to our team if you have any concerns.
At Evolving Mind and Body, dermal filler pricing is straightforward and based on the product used and the number of syringes needed to achieve your goals. Most patients invest between $700 and $1,200 per syringe, with the final plan tailored at your consultation.
Combination plans, such as fillers paired with Botox or other injectable treatments in our Injectables menu, are quoted together so you can plan with full transparency. We do not run aggressive promotions or use loyalty pressure tactics. We focus on appropriate, conservative dosing and long-term value. Your top questions, answered
Dermal fillers are injectable gels, most commonly made of hyaluronic acid, that restore volume, smooth lines and refine facial contours. At Evolving Mind and Body, we use FDA-approved Juvederm and Restylane products.
Results typically last 6 to 18 months depending on the product, area treated, your metabolism and lifestyle. Lip filler tends to last 6 to 12 months, while cheek and jawline fillers can last up to 18 months.
Botox temporarily relaxes muscles to soften dynamic wrinkles like forehead lines and crow's feet. Dermal fillers add volume to plump lips, restore cheeks and smooth deeper folds. Many patients combine both for balanced results.
We treat lips, cheeks, tear troughs, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, chin, jawline and temples. During your consultation, Erin will recommend the best areas and products for your goals.
Most patients describe filler injections as a quick pinch or pressure. We apply a topical numbing cream before treatment, and most HA fillers also contain lidocaine to keep you comfortable throughout the appointment.
Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be partially or fully dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. This is one of the key safety advantages of HA fillers versus other types of injectables.
